"Baby...We Belong Together" The Musical

​

“Baby...We Belong Together!” was written by TONY BREWER, a multi-talented musical artist and performer from Los Angeles, California.  In late 2011, Tony began work on the script for the play.  By the time he finished the final rewrite in March 2012, the cast and crew involved with him in the development of the project were in awe of his sparkling creativity and his natural capacity to create fully articulated characters that everyone can relate to.  He participated in the casting, rehearsals, and workshopping of the play through June 2012 when he unexpectedly took ill.  With deeply broken hearts, his friends and family had to say our goodbyes to Tony as God called him home to heaven on July 8, 2012, the very day that the show debuted.

While Tony saw the production in its final rehearsals, he never got see his work staged before an audience.  Because of this, the entire team of “Baby...We Belong Together!” is dedicated to carrying on Tony’s work as authentically as possible and for as many audiences as we can.   The dialogue performed in the show is the product of Tony’s imagination, and the arc of the story demonstrates Tony’s deep spiritual understanding of the importance of friendship, shared wisdom, love, and forgiveness.  In the arts, Tony was a great saxophonist and singer, an exciting performer, and an emerging playwright.  In his life, Tony was a tremendous friend, loving husband, devoted son, and devout Christian.  His wife, Lynn, continues to support the production of “Baby...We Belong Together!” and the cast and crew owe her a debt of gratitude for allowing us to share Tony’s dream with you.
